GSAQ Field Guides

Since 1964, the GSAQ have organised regular field conferences to various part of the state. These conferences were accompanied by Field Conference Guidebooks which were printed in sufficient numbers for sale. They provided succinct summaries of regions, mineralisation, mines and other geological aspects, and together provided a wealth of information and starting literature for those wishing to follow up on various regions and topics. Most of these guidebooks have been out of print for many years, and although some information is now dated, there is still much interesting material in them. Accordingly the GSAQ has scanned these documents into PDF which can be accessed below for free.
