General Councillor Nomination Form
The General Councillor Nomination Form is to be used for all general nominations. Nominations require a seconder. Only current financial members of the GSA can nominate, second a nomination or vote.

Division Councillor Nomination Form
The Divisional Councillor Nomination Form is to be used for all Division nominations. Your Division will communicate with you when the nomination forms are due and when they are holding their Meeting to vote. The candidate for Divisional Councillor is to be a participant in the nominating Division.

Nominations require a seconder.

In 2023, if you are in Victoria, Western Australia, the Northern Territory or the Australian Capital Territory Divisions, you can nominate to be a Division Councillor. If you are unsuccessful as a Division Councillor you can nominate as a General Councillor. Voting for Division Councillors is done at the Division Meeting.

Only current financial members of the GSA can nominate, second a nomination or vote.

Key dates

29 March 2023: Call for General Councillor nominations

3 April 2023: Written advice to Divisions for Division Councillors

1 May 2023: Latest date for Division Councillor endorsement

12 May 2023: General Councillor nominations close

26 May 2023: Ballot material for the General Councillor positions to be sent to members

21 June 2023: General Councillor Ballot closes

28 June 2023: Declaration of Governing Council at the GSA Annual General Meeting
