GSA (NT division) annual dinner is the premiere event on the NT division’s calendar. The annual dinner is the largest gathering of NT-based and interstate geoscientists within private industry, government and academia.

The guest speaker for the 2018 annual dinner is Dr Grant Cox of the University of Adelaide. Dr Cox is senior research associate within the Department of Earth Sciences, School of Physical Sciences. He has recently been involved in research in the McArthur Basin and has previously studied the Neoproterozoic with a focus on Snowball Earth climate dynamics.For an example of Grant’s latest research, follow this link

This year’s dinner will be held upstairs at Char Restaurant in Darwin. http://www.chardarwin.com.au/

The evening will start at 6:30 pm with pre-dinner drinks, and the dinner starts at 7pm.

A three-course ‘a la carte’ meal and pre-dinner drinks of beer, wine and soft drinks are included in the price of $100
