The Congress committee has planned special and unique visits throughout Australia (as the world’s largest, most diverse continent), as well as New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia.
Each field trip will be accompanied by an expert in that field of study, or activity and you are therefore assured of the latest field and research information, as well as exclusive access to many field sites and mining areas.

Rocks and minerals building Australia
The Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons are made from Moruya Granite. Over 80 years ago Moruya granite was shipped to Sydney by boat for the pylons. The original mine at Moruya is operational today. Moruya is a small town on the South Coast of NSW.
